New Airport …Senegal's Blaise Diagne International Airport Looks To Begin Service December


The Director General of the Agency for the Safety of Air Navigation in Africa and Madagascar (ASECNA), Mr. Mohamed Moussa, who recently paid a working visit to the Blaise Diagne International Airport (Aibd) in Senegal, says the construction work is progressing at a satisfactory rate.

The Deputy Director General of the Aibd, El Hadji Ibrahima Mané discloses that the level of execution of the works exceeded 95%, and "We are in the phase of transfers." He adds that the visit of the Director General of ASECNA is part of the dynamic transfer of the Aibd to future operators.

"Our mission is to build for our customers and operators; hence, the exchanges on the conditions of transfer of this airport that we want to put into service at the beginning of December 2017," says Mr. Mane.
