Royal Jordanian Gets Recertified On IOSA, ISAGO

Royal Jordanian A320 Aircraft bodyRoyal Jordanian says it has successfully fulfilled the requirements for renewing the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operation (ISAGO) certificates granted to the airline by IATA.

The airline states that this will be the fourth time it would obtain the IOSA certificate since it first acquired it in 2004, whereas the ISAGO certificate is now renewed for the first time since it was awarded in 2008. RJ President/CEO, Mr. Hussein Dabbas, who received the IOSA certificate from Dr. Majdi Sabri, Regional Vice President for IATA in the Middle East and North Africa, notes that the audit was concluded without finding any irregularity. The airline's IOSA certificate is effective until the end of 2012.  RJ notes that improved quality standards, reduced cost and high awareness are some ISAGO benefits to the airline. It followed the completion of a comprehensive audit of all ground-handling operations at Queen Alia International Airport, conducted September 2010.
