EgyptAir says it is
increasing its frequencies between Juba and Cairo to daily
flights starting January 2012. The airline announced in
December 2011, increased frequencies on the route to 5 weekly from
4 flights per week, explaining that this will enable it to further
meet the demands of passengers.
The immediate-past Chaiman/CEO of
EgyptAir Holding, Engr. Hussein Massoud, notes that
"expanding network in Africa through inaugurating new routes and
increasing frequencies to the current routes comes within
EgyptAir's strategy that aims at increasing the investments,
economic development and providing more services in Training,
Maintenance, In-flight Services and Ground Services in Africa,
which is one of the fastest growing markets in the world."
EgyptAir began flight operations to
Juba in August 2010 with two weekly flights.
