For the third time running, Air Nigeria says it has
been registered on the International Air Transport Association
(IATA)'s Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) list, following the
successful completion of an intensive Safety Audit.
Chief Executive Officer of Air
Nigeria, Mr. Kinfe Kahssaye, notes thus: "The IOSA re-registration
is coming at an auspicious time when the airline has been
turned-around and it is competing favorably on both domestic and
regional routes with plans to re-launch itself on the international
scene soon."
Mr. Kahssaye notes further that Air
Nigeria's safety performance since its inception has been at the
forefront in the aviation industry and the recent renewal of its
listing on the IOSA registry is a further demonstration that the
airline has been adhering to world class safety standards in a
sustainable manner. The airline reveals that in addition to
assuring world class safety to its customers, being an IOSA
operator will enable Air Nigeria to interline and code-share with
other airlines and ultimately paves the way for the airline to join
one of the global alliance groups in the future.
