Air Namibia has picked
'myIDTravel', the integrated ID travel management solution from
Lufthansa Systems for its staff travel coordination.
According to Lufthansa Systems,
with myIDTravel, Air Namibia can introduce self-service e-ticketing
for flights of staff members on Air Namibia and other airlines.
Lufthansa systems adds that the direct integration into Air
Namibia's reservation system enables the airline to offer their
flights to other airlines' employees and to comply with the
industry mandate of replacing paper ID tickets by 31st March
2012.
Lufthansa System notes that
myIDTravel is an integrated solution for the efficient management
of business and private ID travel.
It reveals that through
e-ticketing, new self-service functions and a high level of
automation, airlines can optimize their ID travel management and
reduce costs.
