IFALPA Gets New Executives

The InternDon Wykoff, IFALPA's 17th President (L) ational Federation of Airline Pilots' Capt. Carl Bollweg, IFALPA's Regional Vice President Africa (South) (M)Associations  (IFALPA) says it elected Capt. Don Wykoff of the United States as IFALPA's 17th President during the final Plenary Session of the Federation's 66th Conference. Prior to this appointment, Capt. Wykoff, a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, served as IFALPA's Deputy President, a role he assumed in 2010. Capt. Wykoff flies 767s for Delta and succeeds Capt. Carlos Limon of Mexico. Addressing delegates on his election, Capt. Wykoff remarks: "I stand before you humbled by your support and I'm ready to get to work with a great team".

Meanwhile, Capt. First Officer Aataa Guedira, IFATCA's Regional Vice President for Africa (West)Rene de Groot of the Netherlands was elected as the Federation's Deputy President succeeding Capt. Wykoff and Canada's Capt. Rod Lypchuk was elected to the IFALPA Board as Executive Vice President Administration & Finance joining Capt. Korn Mansumitchai of Thailand who was elected as Executive Vice President Asia Pacific. Also appointed into the IFALPA board of executives is Capt. Rola Hoteit of Lebanon, who was elected to serve as the Federation's Regional Vice President for the Middle East (East). First Officer Aataa Guedira of Morocco was re-elected as the Federation's Regional Vice President for Africa (West) and Capt. Carl Bollweg of South Africa was re-elected to serve a further two years as IFALPA's Regional Vice President Africa (South).
