Royal Jordanian has revealed plans to open four new destinations
in Africa. The airline states that it will at the end of November
this year, commence this campaign with the start of regular flights
to Lagos, the commercial capital of Nigeria. RJ President/CEO Mr.
Hussein Dabbas, states that the company plans to boost air
transportation between Jordan and the African continent. RJ states
further that the studies it conducted reveal that it is feasible to
inaugurate routes to Accra, capital of Ghana, Nairobi, capital of
Kenya, and Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. Royal Jordanian
says it is currently working on putting these cities on its route
network in the near future.
The airline discloses that it will operate the wide-bodied,
280-seat Airbus A330s to Lagos, while the narrow-body A320s will
function on the other three routes. It adds that the aircraft have
joined the fleet of Royal Jordanian in the course of this and last
year.
